Production lines are equipped with machines from leading European companies Brovind S.A. (Italy), "Jose Borel" S.A. (Italy), Hornos Electricos Lago S.A. (Spain). The BUHLER nut roaster has no analogues in Russia. The roasting technology in this roaster is the key to achieving the best taste characteristics, and also contributes to longer storage of nut products.


The total area of the company's production and warehouse premises is more than 10,000 m2. The main part of the warehouses, up to 62,000 m3, are equipped with a modern climate system. This allows us to maintain required conditions for high-quality storage of products.


OREKHPROM JSC is the only enterprise in Russia with a full cycle of nut growing and processing. The design and construction of our own hazelnut orchard has started since the founding of the company. In 1999, the first seedlings were planted, and today, the nut plantations "OREKHPROM AGRO" located in the Republic of Adygea are the largest and, in fact, the only industrial production of hazelnuts in Russia.

    Growing and harvesting

    Despite hazelnut tree`s low-maintenance nature, for consistently high yields it is necessary to ensure optimal growing conditions. The choice of site is determined by a number of factors - climatic features, soil chemical composition, groundwater level, terrain. To cultivate the land and care for the nut crop, we use a whole range of agrotechnical measures. Harvesting begins in September and lasts on average for a month. And high-quality care after harvesting helps the trees recover faster.

    Preliminary cleaning, drying and calibration of inshell nuts

    Immediately after harvesting, the hazelnuts are dried naturally in a well-ventilated place. Reducing humidity promotes longer shelf life and reduces the likelihood of molding. There is a hulling workshop located on the OREKHPROM AGRO plantation. Pre-calibration of the hazelnut simplifies and speeds up the setup of the hulling equipment.

    Hulling is one of the main stages of nut processing

    The nut shelling process is the process of cracking the nut shell and then separating it. The separation of the shell from the kernel is carried out using roller-type equipment. Fine adjustment allows to get the maximum number of whole high-quality kernels. After the shells are separated, the nuts are re-calibrated and transported to the factory for further processing. We ensure careful processing of nuts.

    Automated Sorting

    Our advanced sorting system utilizes both resonance and optical technologies to ensure the highest quality nuts. A resonance sorter provides 99.9% effectiveness in removing shell fragments. High-speed, high-resolution cameras further identify and remove defects based on color, shape, and other criteria. This rigorous process guarantees a maximum of one shell piece for every two tons of processed product.

    Conveyor Belt Hand Sorting

    Visual inspection and hand-sorting on the conveyor belt is a crucial step in our process, ensuring only the highest quality nuts move forward.

    A unique two-stage roasting process ensures slow, even roasting and controlled moisture evaporation. This gentle method maximizes flavor and extends shelf life. Our specialized roasters maintain consistent quality, color, and moisture levels through advanced air circulation.

    Nut Paste Production

    High-performance automated lines process roasted nuts of varying degrees to create pastes with different particle sizes. Our powerful mills ensure consistent processing even at high production volumes, producing exceptionally fine pastes with particle sizes down to 30 microns.

JSC "OREKHPROM"'s food safety management system, based on HACCP principles, has been operated and certified since 2007. It guarantees the identification and control of any hazardous factors that may pose a threat to the production of safe food products. JSC "OREKHPROM" production and warehouse areas are divided into zones, each with designated requirements aimed at preventing microbiological, chemical, allergenic, and physical contamination of the product from the environment, transport, or personnel.
